FDA regulations
FDA regulations
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates bottled water products and sets strict standards to protect consumers and ensure these products are safe to drink. These standards are administered under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA). The FDA periodically inspects the Deep Rock production facilities and examines the company’s compliance with applicable federal bottled water regulatory standards.
IBWA industry regulations
IBWA industry regulations
In addition to existing stringent regulatory standards for bottled water, the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) also maintains a strict Bottled Water Code of Practice for its bottler members. As an IBWA member of more than 20 years, Deep Rock meets or exceeds the bottled water industry quality standards. In some instances, IBWA bottler members are required to meet more stringent bottled water quality standards than those set by the FDA.
WQA treatment standards
WQA treatment standards
Founded in 1974, the Water Quality Association (WQA) is a not-for-profit international trade association comprised of more than 2,500 members representing the residential, commercial and industrial water treatment industry. As a proud member of the WQA, we have the distinction of operating as a responsible company that meets or exceeds the standards set for water treatment or conditioning by this internationally recognized organization.
